Functie

RESPONSIBILITIES

The purpose of this function is to correctly, timely and efficiently execute the Accounts Payable Associate function for the administrations performed by the Financial Shared Service Centre of ASICS Europe BV in Hoofddorp. The FSSC is performing the administration for the Headquarter, several distribution centres in Europe and Africa, performing the administration of several subsidiaries of ASICS Europe BV and performing the administration of ASICS E-commerce.

  • Processing (Non-)PO invoices in multiple languages and currencies
  • Review Vendor Master data
  • Identify VAT/Tax requirements and ensure compliance with financial policies
  • Ensure on-time invoice approvals
  • Assist business partners with inquiries
  • Overseeing relationships with suppliers (incl. solving issues)
  • Review, analyse, and respond to external/internal supplier inquiries and perform supplier statement of account reconciliations
  • Maintaining Open Items in AP Subledger
  • Reconciliation AP Subledger vs General Ledger (Monthly)
  • Assist with Month End Accruals

Functie-eisen

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor + education
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in an international environment (retail)
  • User experience of financial software packages (SAP)
  • Knowledge of business processes and understanding of P2P flow
  • Knowledge of VAT
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Able to work with high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
  • Forward looking thinker who can articulate the need for and implement process improvements
  • Understanding of SOX compliance rules and guidelines is a plus
  • Fluent in English, any other EU language is a plus
